Nail of the Day: Zoya Fleck Effect "Chloe"

The two polishes that I won from Zoya's "Freebie Friday" arrived today! Unfortunately, they sent me a different color polish than I had asked for, but since it was free I can't really complain. I've been so excited to try this polish after reading so many awesome reviews and seeing so many pretty manicures with it. This color is called "Chloe" and is from the new "Zoya Fleck Effect Polish" collection. Basically, it is a very pale sheer pink glaze base with different reflective pieces of reddish orange and greenish blue glitte in it. Being that the base color is not very opaque, it seems that these polishes are best when applied over a darker base color.

How much is my face worth?!

I was recently browsing some blogs and I came across what I thought was a really interesting post. Basically, the idea was to take a look at the specific makeup products that I use on a daily basis and list the names along with the retail values of each item. This fascinated me so much because I don't think we realize how much we truly spend on makeup. I know that I have many products that are rather expensive, but I have never broken down the price of each individual item and totaled them up to see how much my everyday routine is worth. With that being said, here is a list all of all the products that make up my daily routine!

Liebster Blog Award!

So this is my second award thus far and I would like to thank Athina, Rebecca, and Jordan for passing it on to me. Each of their blogs is unique and fascinating with regards to the content, so you should check them out if you're in the mood to browse some awesome posts! Apparently, the word "Liebster" means beloved or favorite and this award is to be passed on to blogs with under 200 followers that deserve special recognition. As a requirement, I must pass this award on to an additional 5 blogs:
  1. Lilly Belle About Town
  2. Kla Dollface
  3. Sarah Lea
  4. Make Me Up Pink
  5. Just Love
I just wanted to give a special thank you to all of my followers. I cant believe I have almost 100 followers considering I just started this blog at the beginning of January. It has come pretty far and I am so excited to see where it goes in the future. I plan to post a lot more, but I have been a bit preoccupied with the new semester of college classes starting. However, I have a lot of ideas for posts already so I will be sure to get around to them very soon! Thank you again for being such great followers. Don't forget to enter my Wet n' Wild giveaway!

Zoya Freebie Friday Facebook Contest!

Credit: Zoya Blog
For those of you who were unaware, today was Zoya's "Freebie Friday!" Basically, this was a competition open to everyone who "liked" Zoya's page on Facebook. From 9:30AM to 3:00PM, Zoya intern Angelina asked random trivia questions about the brand and gave a prize to the first few people who answered the questions correctly. Conveniently, I just found out about the contest today after I got out of class and saw that she had already begun posting the questions on Zoya's Facebook page. Unfortunately, I did not see the first question in time to answer it. However, as I was chatting with a few friends on Facebook, a few more questions popped up in my feed as the day progressed, and I got a bit luckier with these. Below are screenshots of some of the questions that were asked as well as what I ended up winning!

My First Giveaway: Wet n' Wild Vanity and Greed Palettes! *ENDED*

So as a celebration for having 50 followers, I was going to have a small giveaway just to thank everyone for following me and leaving such kind comments on my posts, but I simply cannot wait! I never thought that I would even have as many followers as I do now, so I am super excited to continue on blogging! Both of these palettes were bought with my own hard-earned money and are completely unopened items (despite the scratches on the packaging - they were like that when I bought them, unfortunately). The winner will receive both palettes, which retail for about $5 a piece in stores. I know it's not much, but the more followers I get, the better the giveaways will be! Without further due, here are some pictures of the items and the rules for the contest.
